BIO
Amber Malmstadt has been dancing since the age of three. She grew up in central New Jersey and trained at American Repertory Ballets Princeton Ballet School. She also attended Lustig Dance Theatre under the direction of Graham Lustig. Here she trained as well as performed as a corp member in their professional company. Amber has also trained at the Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Moscow Russia, the colligate program at American Ballet Theatre, the Rock school in Philadelphia, Mark Morris winter intensive in Brooklyn and has traveled to Zagreb, Croatia training under the direction of Anne Mahre of Ballet Ireland. Amber has graduated from The University of the Arts under direction of Donna Faye Burchfield. Since attending the university she has choreographed and perform for New York Fashion Week as well as for an ongoing tour of mixed media for photographer John Singletary. Continuing her work in New York with choreographer Maria Malizia with the Forza Malizia dance company. Amber spent four years performing with The Montgomery Ballet, located in Montgomery Alabama. Since 2021 Amber has performed as a company member with The Tallahassee Ballet, in Tallahassee Florida.
